Chakin (Tea Cloth) for Chado (Japanese Tea Ceremony)

In the practice of Chanoyu, special tea cloths are used to wipe off water, etc, from utensils. Called, chakin, literally "tea cloth", vertical threads are made with hemp while horizontal threads use cotton giving the cloth a characteristic feel.
